Last week we made handmade journals by upcycling old Readers Digest book covers. We enjoyed learning a bit more about our shared creative interests and how to pool our ideas to enhance our journals by adding pockets and sheets of beautiful paper and by using quilling to make paper beads.
No experience required, just a willingness to share ideas and learn from others. We reuse a variety of waste materials (e.g. paper, cardboard, fabric, plastic) as part of our creative process, and encourage you to experiment as much as you want to. All welcome ? Find us at shop 6 in the Museum Village (opposite the Visitor Centre)
This week’s Recycling tip: A visitor to the Arts Space gave us a link to Low Waste Life – Camille DeBurgh, on Instagram – showing us some great practical ways to reduce waste.
Do you have a creative interest you are willing to share – or are you keen to learn new skills from others? Join our FREE Open Studio sessions on Wednesdays and Thursdays any time between 10am – 1pm.
