Cultures through film
Join our Conversational Language Group. Hosted by Fiona Johnson, Read Write Now tutor, Aly Jennings and Paula Urtasun. Learn or practise your Spanish or English with native speakers sharing their language. This group will be starting again at the beginning of 2023 due to our relocation. Please, send us an email to admin@esperancecommunityarts.org.au and let us know if you want to share your language/culture or just learn and when are you available to do so!
“Cultures through Film” is catch up with a small group of people to watch a movie selected by somebody from a different cultural group and have a casual chat about daily life in different parts of the world. The first movie is Bend it like Beckham, it will be hosted by Divyan Varghese and will take place on Friday 2nd Dec (6pm) at CWA Hall. The best way to experience a culture is through its food! This workshops are designed for small groups who want to learn about different cultures while learning to cook different dishes. The cost is $20 per person and places are limited, please let us know if you want to participate! We want to encourage people with different cultural backgrounds to host a session, please contact us if you would like to participate to admin@esperancecommunityarts.org.au
