About the Project

Esperance Seawater Families, Escare Inc and Esperance Community Arts celebrated the launch of our book ‘Our Art, Our Culture, Our Way: Kepa Kurl Community Arts Programs 2016 – 2021’ on Saturday 29th May, 2021. This event was the culmination of 6 years of Indigenous arts partnerships and programs in Esperance. 

The program ran from 2016-2021 and included numerous projects, each offering an opportunity to learn about, participate in, and celebrate local Indigenous art and culture. These included events, workshops, performances, murals, language resources, acknowledgement plaques and signage.
