Readers and Writers Esperance 2021 - Summary of Events
Esperance Community Arts was proud to present Readers & Writers Esperance 2021.
This was an inaugural program that included activities and events commencing January 2021 and culminated in a weekend event at the Bijou Theatre, May 28th to 30th.
The program brought together established, emerging, local and visiting writers and the community to engage in readings, interviews and panel discussions.
It included a range of opportunities for creative expression, professional development and collaboration, with activities for participants of all ages – from book readings for under 5’s, to journaling, poetry, songwriting and scriptwriting workshops, to techniques for upcycling old books to create wonderful new artworks.
